Who We Are ...

The "Optimist Club of Bridgeton" (often referred to as the Bridgeton Optimist)  became a local chapter of Optimist International in 1983. We are a civic and social-minded group of volunteers actively supporting our community to make a positive impact and brighter future for all.

What We Do ...

Through organizing various events and fundraisers, we endeavor to enhance the lives of our community; its youth, residents and local businesses.

Some of our fundraising efforts include, but are not limited to, supporting the Bridgeton Junior Golf Program, the Missouri Children's Burn Camp, and the Alzheimer's Association of greater Missouri f.k.a. the St. Louis Chapter.

Club Membership ...

At this time we are currently accepting new members.

Members meet once a month at the Bridgeton Community Center to discuss chapter business and plan fundraising events. We also have social meetings where we get together in a casual  atmosphere.
